Yes dear Readers, we have a fan club of sorts. There are some, like the eloquent commenter captioned above, who believe that we’re playing shadow puppets in a dark corner. And if keeping up with our content occasionally reduces the amount of free time available for trips to the Berkley Police Department concerning our content, we consider that an unexpected community benefit.
So how many people are actually viewing and reading this little old thing? 4. What’s Mark Doing? Former Official Haunts BOS. Throws Influence Around

This guy again? Ugh. Alright. At least the Common cemetery got mowed again last week. Apparently leaving Berkley government is less of a departure and more of a paranormal event.
Some former officials retire. Others remain among us. Mark is more of your classic, visible apparition. Wendy seems to prefer the poltergeist approach.
Either way, Town Hall may want to invest in an exorcist.
3. Longton, Pavao Resign from Berkley Cemetery Commission. BOS Next for Bob?

How many cemetery commissioners does it take to unsuccessfully maintain a cemetery? We all found out together. This article covered the Cemetery Commission mess and ended by asking whether Bob Longton’s Board of Selectmen seat might be the next chair to empty. Turns out that question aged remarkably well.

And here it is, the undisputed heavyweight champion of people-not-reading-this-blog.
What can you say about this one that hasn’t been documented with the Berkley Police Department already. Yes, he files complaints on the blog posts too. This one had 518 views on its first day. That, dear readers, is a runaway freight train of success for this humble little publication, especially considering that it’s the newest entry in the top 5, posted on July 31st. For perspective, that’s a remarkably enthusiastic response to something we’re reliably informed nobody cares about. The article examined an encounter involving Planning Board member Gregory Unger and a neighbor’s contractor, along with the resulting involvement of the Berkley Police Department. We published the records and material supporting the story so readers could review them and reach their own conclusions.
And apparently they did. Seven hundred and four times to be exact.
So Michael, thank you so much for your concern about our readership. We checked the numbers to make sure and bad news for you – people are reading, quite a few of them actually. We know – we were surprised too, thank you for making us look! Here we thought we were sitting alone in a basement doing news skits for ourselves and hoping someone would might notice. Turns out they noticed, and apparently so did you.
